No increase in accidents after camera turned off!

Here is an interesting story that adds yet more fuel to the fire that traffic cameras do not prevent accidents and are merely a revenue generation tool.

In July last year 5 speed cameras in Swindon, UK were covered due to the withdrawal of funding. Council figures have shown since that time there has been no increase in accidents in the area..
